Sports Data Operator
About The Position
Sportradar is seeking reliable, enthusiastic Sports Data Operators to collect live data at college and professional sporting events from the venue. Operators use Sportradar’s mobile application on a modern iOS or Android phone or tablet. The role offers pay of up to $180 per game, plus ticket and travel expenses, and work is scheduled according to the operator’s availability. Training is provided, along with an introduction to the sports technology industry. Sportradar is a global sports technology company that creates experiences for sports fans and bettors. Established in 2001 and listed on the NASDAQ stock exchange in 2021, the company serves sports federations, news media, consumer platforms, and sports betting operators.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Strong knowledge of one or more of the following sports: football, basketball, baseball, ice hockey, or volleyball.
- Excellent knowledge of the rules, teams, and players for the assigned game.
- Must be able to attend matches in person using their own means of transportation.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Clear and efficient communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Attend games and collect data in real time at the venue.
- Monitor and verify game details, including changes to starting times and venue information.
- Uphold the morals, ethics, and standards of the profession.
