Sports Data Operator
About The Position
Sportradar is seeking reliable, enthusiastic people to track college and professional sports events in real time at the venue. Operators use Sportradar’s mobile application on a modern iOS or Android phone or tablet to collect and provide real-time data. The role involves attending games in person and offers work based on the operator’s availability. Candidates must be at least 18 and have strong knowledge of one or more of football, basketball, baseball, ice hockey, and volleyball. Sportradar is a global sports technology company that creates experiences for sports fans and bettors. Established in 2001 and listed on the NASDAQ in 2021, it works across the sports, media, and betting industries, providing solutions to sports federations, news media, consumer platforms, and sports betting operators.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Strong knowledge of one or more of football, basketball, baseball, ice hockey, and volleyball.
- Excellent knowledge of the rules, teams, and players for the assigned game.
- Must be able to attend matches in person using their own means of transport.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Clear and efficient communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Attend games and collect data at the venue in real time.
- Monitor and verify game details, including changes to starting times and venue information.
- Uphold the morals, ethics, and standards of the profession.
