About The Position

This role is responsible for promoting a high level of hospitality to maintain the profitability of operations. The Shift Leader will open or close shifts, monitor staffing levels, ensure proper training of Sports Bar staff, and maintain product quality. This position also involves assisting with monthly inventory, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, receiving goods, and performing regular Sports Bar duties such as bartending and waiting tables. The Shift Leader is expected to lead by example and perform other assigned duties.

Requirements

Experience in the Food & Beverage industry required.
Excellent customer service skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Strong training skills.
Able to work nights and weekends.
Knowledge of POS system.
Bar equipment knowledge.
Sensitivity to various cultures, including Native American cultures.
Regular attendance and punctuality.
Able and willing to work any changes in scheduled hours as required.
Serve as a credit to Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel and encourage others to do the same.
Mobility throughout the facility.
Frequent heavy lifting.
Frequent bending and stooping.
Able to walk extensively.
Able to lift up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

Monitor staffing levels during shift.
Ensure proper training of Sports Bar staff during shift.
Maintain product quality to the expectations of the Beverage Operations Manager.
Assist with monthly inventory.
Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
Receive all goods in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Perform regular Sports Bar duties (e.g. bartending, waiting tables, etc.).
Lead by example.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
