About The Position

This position is for a Server at a Sports Bar. The role involves developing and maintaining a service culture that ensures superior guest service, adhering to all company policies, and maintaining professionalism. Key responsibilities include having complete product knowledge, making suggestions to increase guest checks, taking orders accurately, keeping work areas clean, maintaining bar equipment, handling funds, managing inventory, knowing promotions and events, and professionally handling situations with intoxicated guests. All other duties as assigned.

Complete product knowledge
Ability to describe all menu items
Basic wine knowledge
Ability to suggest and present wine tableside
Basic liquor knowledge
Ability to garnish all beverages
Ability to take orders from guests in a timely manner and correctly
Ability to keep work areas clean and organized
Ability to perform daily maintenance of all bar equipment
Ability to handle funds
Ability to maintain par levels related to inventory ordering and restocking
Knowledge of all promotions and events
Ability to professionally handle situations that may arise due to intoxicated guests

Responsibilities

Make specific suggestions and recommendations to increase guest check average.
