Sports Bar Food Server
About The Position
The Sports Bar Food Server receives food and beverage orders from guests, serves those orders, and may collect payment and make change. The server greets and communicates with guests in a friendly, courteous manner, enters orders and payments using a computerized guest check system, retrieves prepared orders from the kitchen, and delivers them to guests. The role also involves presenting checks, collecting payment or delivering payment to the cashier, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the dining room. The server must carry and balance trays or push carts of food and beverages through the kitchen and dining room.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be able to stand and walk for the majority of the shift.
- Must be able to lift and carry trays weighing approximately 40 pounds.
- Must be able to communicate in English.
- Must be able to use a computer system to place food and beverage orders and process payments.
- Must have excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.
Nice To Haves
- Six months of food and beverage service experience preferred.
