About The Position

North 40 Outfitters in Havre, Montana, is hiring a full-time Sporting Goods Lead. This role contributes to the customer experience through excellent service, sales support, product recommendations, stocking and merchandising, and keeping the sporting goods department clean and organized. The Lead also guides and develops the team and safeguards company assets. The ideal candidate has retail leadership experience, understands firearm compliance, and has knowledge of or work experience with various types of firearms. The position requires availability for scheduled shifts during store business hours: Monday through Saturday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Shifts may include weekends and certain holidays, with scheduling flexibility based on business needs. The role involves spending all work time on one's feet and requires lifting and carrying items of varying weights.

Availability to work scheduled shifts during store business hours, including weekends and certain holidays, with flexibility based on business needs.

Nice To Haves

Prior retail leadership experience.
