About The Position
The Sport Instructor is a hands-on role responsible for leading athletes and providing expert instruction in a designated sport. The instructor delivers the i9 Sports Experience and helps create a positive youth sports culture on the field. i9 Sports offers youth leagues, camps, and clinics for children ages 3–17, emphasizing fun, safety, convenience, and good sportsmanship. The position runs for the full duration of the season, approximately seven weeks, and has a varied schedule that includes weekends and some evenings.
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills.
- Sport-specific coaching experience and knowledge.
- Highly motivated self-starter who can work independently.
- Ability to work a varied schedule, including weekends and some evenings, for the full duration of the season (approximately seven weeks).
Responsibilities
- Lead practice sessions focused on fundamentals, skill development, and fun.
- Teach and demonstrate core concepts, including sportsmanship values.
- Use established platforms to communicate game-day information to players and parents.
- Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills.
