About The Position

OleOle is seeking a hands-on Senior Backend Engineer to build and manage global LIVE Scores infrastructure covering football, basketball, Formula 1, cricket, golf, boxing, tennis, and other sports. The role will integrate Enetpulse sports-data APIs and develop a scalable, provider-independent backend capable of supporting hundreds of competitions worldwide. The architecture should support partially or fully replacing Enetpulse with alternative providers without rebuilding the platform. The engineer will own the LIVE Scores backend, from architecture and implementation through testing and maintenance, and collaborate with existing frontend and design teams. The platform must support live events, results, standings, rankings, fixtures, and statistics; accommodate the differing structures of various sports; process and synchronize data in real time; and expose APIs that support sport-specific frontend experiences. It must maintain data accuracy, reliability, and scalability while connecting sports information to OleOle’s existing microblogging platform without interfering with its 4U recommendation system. OleOle is building a global social network and messaging platform for football fans, combining social networking, encrypted messaging, live scores, video, multilingual content, payments, digital wallets, AI, and Mini Programs. OleOle Sport is a business unit focused on ticketing, VIP hospitality, and football travel. It will operate a standalone consumer website and also be integrated as a Mini Program within the OleOle platform. The company describes itself as an early-stage, rapidly growing, privately held organization. The role is based in Austin, Texas, and requires some travel.
