About The Position
Canada Soccer is the National Sport Organization responsible for leading the growth and development of soccer in Canada. Working in collaboration with its Member Associations, professional leagues, clubs, and community partners, Canada Soccer supports the game at every level — from grassroots participation to high performance — and across all regions of the country. The Sport and Community Inclusion Departments support initiatives that create equitable, diverse and meaningful opportunities for participation, leadership, and development within soccer. Through programs such as TELUS She CAN Coach, Canada Soccer is committed to strengthening pathways for women and girls in coaching and creating more inclusive environments across the Canadian soccer landscape. Canada Soccer is seeking a Sport Inclusion Program Coordinator to support the delivery of the TELUS She CAN Coach program. This part-time contract role will provide administrative, communication, and program delivery support, with a focus on supporting French-language participants, coordinating program communications, assisting with participant engagement, and supporting the delivery of virtual learning sessions. The position will primarily support the French-language delivery of TELUS She CAN Coach and will require a maximum commitment of 10 hours/week from September–December and 20 hours/week from January–April, based on program delivery needs.
Requirements
- Post-secondary education in Sport Management, Administration, Business, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Fluent in both English and French, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience supporting sport, recreation, community, or educational programming.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Comfortable using digital platforms and technology to support virtual programming and communication.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
- Strong interest in soccer, women and girls’ participation, coaching development, and creating inclusive opportunities within sport.
Nice To Haves
- Experience supporting webinars, online learning environments, or participant-based programming is considered an asset.
Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day administration and delivery of the French TELUS She CAN Coach program.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for participants, responding to questions and providing timely program-related support.
- Support participant onboarding, registration processes, attendance tracking, and program follow-up.
- Maintain accurate program records, tracking documents, and administrative materials.
- Assist with scheduling, coordination, and logistics related to virtual learning sessions and program activities.
- Support the collection of participant feedback and program information to help evaluate program impact.
- Provide bilingual (English/French) communication support for program participants and stakeholders.
- Translate and adapt program communications, resources, and materials to support French-language delivery.
- Support the preparation and distribution of participant communications, including reminders, updates, and follow-up information.
- Ensure communications are clear, accessible, and aligned with Canada Soccer’s brand and program objectives.
- Lead the facilitation and delivery of French TELUS She CAN Coach virtual webinars and learning sessions.
- Support webinar preparation and coordination, including guest speaker identification, participant communications, technology coordination, and session logistics.
- Provide live support during virtual sessions, including participant engagement, facilitation support, and troubleshooting as needed.
- Support guest speakers, facilitators, and participants to ensure a positive and engaging learning experience.
- Assist with the coordination and attendance of in-person TELUS She CAN Coach events, including French program delivery opportunities (some events may take place on weekends).
