About The Position

The Fellowship of Catholic University Students (FOCUS) has a mission to know Christ Jesus and fulfill His Great Commission. Since 1998, FOCUS missionaries have invited college students into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and His Church, inspiring and equipping them for a lifetime of Christ-centered evangelization, discipleship and friendships in which they lead others to do the same. Through Bible studies, one-on-one discipleship, conferences and mission trips, missionaries walk alongside students in their journey of faith, encouraging them to live out lifelong Catholic mission. The Sponsorship Sales Specialist will be expected to complete project responsibilities throughout the year, collaborating with other leaders both within and outside FE to bring projects to completion. Training and resources will be required to accomplish these goals and a high level of professionalism and communication will be required. Overall, success in this role will add value to the overall culture of FOCUS and Formative Enterprises. In addition to departmental tasks, the Sponsorship Sales Specialist, even remote, will be expected to live out the cultural virtues, participate in daily prayer and Mass, have a weekly plan of investment in mission, and travel to be in person for activities roughly every six weeks or as determined in conversation with your supervisor.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain 125-175 sponsorship relationships
  • Identify desires and goals of sponsor and what activations correlate with their desires
  • Retain 98% of all sponsorship sales at or above the level sold the year prior
  • Achieve annual baseline team goal
  • Develop new and exciting activations each year to offer sponsors through collaboration with teammates, FE Brand, Events, and Marketing
  • Maintain the formative journey of the attendees and unite relevant sponsors to activations
  • Identify non-Catholic and Secular Sponsorship opportunities to network and begin sales to these organizations
  • Recommend pricing and sales strategy for Regional SEEK locations to be used into the future
  • Collaborate with Events, Marketing, FE Brand, Church Engagement, Lifelong Mission and Formation to find the best sponsorship activations relevant to SEEK and the respective department
  • Engage sponsors on seek week efforts to better drive student registrations
  • Perform Sponsorship sales for relevant non-seek engagements: Go Forth, NST, Mission Trips, Summer Projects, Recruitment Weekends, TD Training
  • Identify opportunities for sponsorships outside of seek
  • Identify and network sponsorship prospects for YouTube, Podcasts, and SEEK Replay
  • Identify sponsorship activations available for YouTube, Podcasts, and SEEK Replay
  • Provide sponsors with analytics of their sponsorship
