Our baristas and beverage servers craft incredible drinks, from rich coffees and refreshing mocktails to energizing protein drinks and house-made sodas. Our convenient drive-thru keeps things moving for guests on the go, perfect for team members who thrive on energy and efficiency. This is our first location, with plans for more on the way! We're searching for fabulous Speed of Service Experts (Drive-Thru Attendants) to join our team!! Our Speed of Service Expert plays a critical role in maintaining warmth, thoughtful attention, accuracy, and blazing speed. This role is responsible for efficiently and accurately taking customer orders, primarily through the drive-thru, preparing food for delivery, and ensuring a positive customer experience within the drive-thru lanes. You need to be friendly, quick, and able to handle a variety of tasks, including order processing, food preparation, and cash handling.
Requirements
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrates flexibility and mental agility when assessing and responding to various routine and non-routine situations.
- Ability to act decisively with or without sufficient information.
- Ability to work effectively with other kitchen staff in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to manage a workstation and maintain a clean and organized environment.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Above average math skills.
- A positive attitude and good manners.
- Neat personal appearance and proper personal hygiene.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Valid Server Permit (ABC Card).
- Ability to communicate effectively in the primary language(s) of the work location. Fluency in English may be essential for certain customer service stations within this position.
Responsibilities
- Shine for our guests, making them feel special and welcome.
- Warmly greet customers at the drive-thru window.
- Accurately and efficiently take customer orders, both verbally and through the order taking system.
- Ensure orders are prepared correctly, including paper products, condiments, and any special requests.
- Assist with food preparation, such as assembling sandwiches, packaging food, and preparing drinks.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions, calculate change, and operate the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Provide excellent customer service, answering questions, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the drive-thru window, counter, and surrounding space.
- Follow food safety and hygiene guidelines.
- Work effectively as part of a team to ensure smooth and efficient service.
