About The Position
As a Speech Therapist, you will develop a plan of care for patients to include evaluation, testing, exercise, and training programs based on the patient’s ability. This role is responsible to the Director of the Inpatient Rehab Unit.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree from an ASHA (CCC) approved graduate program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence
- Current license to practice in the State of Texas
- American Heart Association BLS for Health Care Providers
- One year of clinical experience as a licensed Speech Language Pathologist
- Prior experience in adult speech, language, voice and swallowing disorders
- Prior experience with performing MBS
- Employment contingent upon successful completion of: Background Check, Lab Work, Immunization Records
Nice To Haves
- Certification in Vital Simulation desired
