About The Position

Powerback is hiring a Speech Therapist (SLP) to provide rehabilitation services that help patients communicate, swallow, and diminish or remediate disorders or deficits. The role is responsible for effective and efficient delivery of rehabilitation services, including designing plans and working with patients to carry them out. The therapist develops programs to restore, reinforce, and enhance patients’ speech and communication abilities, adapting care to each patient and the range of settings and tasks involved.

The position involves collaborating with peers, making referrals when needed, and teaching patients and caregivers skills that support independence and productivity. The posting offers a $20,000 sign-on bonus and lists an hourly salary range of $40.00–$50.00.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, Communicative Disorders, or a similarly titled area consistent and acceptable to the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
• Licensed, certified, or credentialed as required in the state of practice.
