About The Position

FeldCare Connects is seeking a self-motivated Speech Therapist to provide home healthcare to patients of all ages in Tampa and surrounding areas. This is an independent contractor position with flexible scheduling and no minimum patient requirement. Contractors choose their coverage areas, decide which referrals to accept, set their schedules, and determine their earnings based on the number of patients they treat.

The Speech Therapist provides one-on-one treatment, determines the plan of care, and observes, records, and reports patient responses to treatment and changes in condition. FeldCare Connects provides administrative support with assignments, communication, scheduling, care coordination, and quality assurance. Clinicians use the Cliniconnects app to accept or decline referrals and an electronic medical record system for documentation.

FeldCare Connects links clinicians with home health agencies and hospice providers to help homebound patients access care in their communities.

Requirements

• Current, active, unrestricted Speech-Language Pathology license issued by the state board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology; conditional, provisional, restricted licenses, and limited permits are not accepted.
• Certification by the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
• Completion of an accredited Speech-Language Pathologist program.
• Ability and enthusiasm to work with patients of all ages.
• Reliable personal transportation.
• Smartphone.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality home healthcare to patients of all ages.
• Deliver one-on-one treatment and determine the plan of care.
