About The Position

Sprenger Therapy is hiring an in-house Speech-Language Pathologist at Elms Retirement Village in Wellington, Ohio. The position provides clinical care to residents with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. The therapist evaluates residents, develops and implements individualized treatment plans, and collaborates with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary care team. The in-house, family-owned therapy model emphasizes clinical autonomy, patient needs, and outcomes rather than short-term volume. Clinical Fellowship candidates are encouraged to apply; mentorship and supervision are provided.

Requirements

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
Current SLP license or license eligibility.
Commitment to patient-first, outcomes-driven care.

Nice To Haves

Experience with dysphagia evaluation and treatment.

Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary care team.
Conduct dysphagia evaluations and make evidence-based diet and intervention recommendations.
Provide cognitive-linguistic therapy to support functional independence and quality of life.
Collaborate with PT, OT, nursing, and dietary staff to ensure coordinated, whole-person care.
Document clearly and efficiently in support of quality outcomes.
