About The Position

Pediatric Partners is hiring Speech-Language Pathology Assistants for its growing pediatric clinic in the Bishop Arts area of Dallas, Texas. The position is offered PRN or part-time, with potential to grow into full-time as the caseload develops and clinic needs allow. Work takes place at one clinic location, with no travel between patient homes.

Under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), the assistant helps children build communication skills and supports their participation in everyday life. The role offers experienced clinical leadership and collaboration with an interdisciplinary pediatric therapy team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders, Speech-Language Pathology, or a related field that meets Texas licensing requirements.
• Active Texas Speech-Language Pathology Assistant license.
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.
• A dependable, compassionate, and collaborative approach to care.

Nice To Haves

• Pediatric experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language treatment according to the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist’s established plan of care.
• Implement activities targeting speech sound production, receptive and expressive language, and social communication as directed by the supervising SLP.
• Support use of augmentative and alternative communication tools as outlined in the treatment plan.
• Use engaging, developmentally appropriate activities to support each child’s goals.
• Collaborate with the supervising SLP, caregivers, and the interdisciplinary therapy team.
• Reinforce caregiver strategies established by the supervising SLP.
• Document treatment sessions and communicate progress or concerns to the supervising SLP.
