About The Position
Wee Care Corp is seeking a Contract Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to deliver client-centered speech and language services aligned to individualized treatment plans. This role exists to support measurable communication progress through consistent, evidence-based implementation. Key responsibilities include providing direct therapy services as delegated, completing screenings using established protocols, maintaining clear and timely documentation of patient progress, and developing or adapting therapy materials that keep sessions structured and engaging.
Requirements
- Licensed by the Arizona Department of Health Services
- Valid ASHA SLPA certification or completion of an approved SLPA program
- Strong written and verbal communication for accurate documentation
- Willing to travel to clients’ homes and/or provide teletherapy
Responsibilities
- Providing direct therapy services as delegated
- Completing screenings using established protocols
- Maintaining clear and timely documentation of patient progress
- Developing or adapting therapy materials that keep sessions structured and engaging
- Reviewing the day’s session notes
- Organizing digital resources
- Setting up materials so each appointment starts on time
- Updating records
- Tracking outcomes against plan goals
- Coordinating next steps with the supervising team to keep care consistent
- Confirming upcoming appointments
- Ensuring documentation is complete and ready for follow-up
