About The Position

Reliant Healthcare Group is seeking passionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) to join their growing pediatric home health team across the greater Houston area. The Intake Team builds caseloads in areas close to where employees live, aiming to minimize drive time and maximize work-life balance. This role involves delivering child-centered care in a supportive and collaborative environment under the supervision of a licensed SLP. The position focuses on working with children (ages 0-21) with various speech and language needs.

Requirements

Active SLPA certification and valid Texas state license.
Experience working with pediatric populations preferred.
Enthusiastic, patient-centered professional comfortable working in home-based settings.
Ability to maintain various postures (kneeling, sitting, standing, squatting) for extended periods.
Ability to walk and run for extended periods.
Ability to transition independently from sitting to standing.
Ability to utilize quick body movements as required by behavior intervention plans.
Ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds.
Ability to transfer, position, and transport patients and adaptive equipment.
Ability to read written communication via computer, electronic devices, and paper.
Ability to perform data collection using electronic devices.

Responsibilities

Implement individualized speech-language therapy treatment plans with measurable goals under the supervision of a licensed SLP.
Engage pediatric patients using fun, age-appropriate games and activities to promote participation and progress.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure high-quality, consistent care.
Accurately document patient progress in a timely manner.
