About The Position

Avante at Boca Raton Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a PRN Speech Language Pathologist to provide and direct speech-language pathology services to residents. The role includes assessment, treatment, program planning and implementation, related documentation, and communication, and functions under physicians' orders. The position is located in Boca Raton, Florida, and requires background screening through the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.

Requirements

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Successful completion of the National Certification Examination for S.L.P.
Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure.
Ability to assess residents with communication and swallowing disorders.
Ability to interpret and communicate assessment results.
Ability to design and execute appropriate treatment plans.
Ability to document daily care according to established guidelines.
Background screening through the AHCA Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse is required.
