Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) PRN
About The Position
Theracare is hiring a PRN Speech Language Pathologist to provide therapy services in a busy skilled nursing community. The role evaluates and treats patients, in accordance with physician orders, using therapeutic procedures intended to improve speech, language, swallowing, and hearing disorders and help patients overcome disabilities from a variety of causes. The Speech Language Pathologist works as part of a team, providing support and information within the field of Speech/Language Pathology. Services may be provided in skilled nursing facilities, outpatient facilities, long-term care facilities, or home health care. Requirements
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology.
- Current state license or certification.
- Excellent oral, written communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to provide therapy services in skilled nursing facilities, outpatient facilities, long-term care facilities, or home health care.
- Competency in applying the principles, methods, materials, and equipment used in the specific therapy discipline.
- Knowledge of accreditation standards and compliance requirements.
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of one year of experience in rehabilitation preferred.
