About The Position

HealthPro Heritage is seeking a Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC/CFY) for a split-position role in Waverly and Chillicothe, OH. This role is ideal for clinicians who enjoy variety, a supportive team, and making a significant impact in a continuing care retirement community. The position offers a $5,000 Sign-On Bonus or Relocation Assistance and is open to CFYs, providing an excellent opportunity for new graduates with strong mentorship. The role involves resident-focused care across short-term rehab, long-term care, and assisted living, utilizing modern, well-equipped therapy spaces. Requirements

  • Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist, or license eligible
  • Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) (CCC-SLP).
  • Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in using diagnostic tools, therapy equipment, relevant software, and electronic health record systems, with a proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

  • Patient Assessment: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, voice, and swallowing abilities using standardized tests and clinical observations. Develop accurate diagnoses based on assessment results.
  • Treatment and Education: Implement evidence-based therapies for speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders; monitor and adjust treatment plans; educate and support patients and families on disorders, treatment strategies, and daily communication improvement.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress, and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Collaboration: Work with healthcare providers to ensure effective patient care and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings as needed.
