About The Position
Autumn Lake @ Patuxent River is hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Clinical Fellow (CFY) for a full-time role in our skilled nursing facility. Join a supportive rehab team focused on helping residents improve communication, cognition, and swallowing function in a collaborative care environment.
Requirements
- Active SLP license eligible in Maryland
- CFY candidates encouraged to apply
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans and functional goals
- Work closely with nursing, therapy staff, physicians, and families
- Educate residents and caregivers on therapy techniques and recommendations
- Maintain accurate documentation and monitor resident progress
