About The Position
Theracare is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to join their dedicated therapy team. This PRN position involves evaluating and treating patients in various settings, including Skilled Nursing Facilities, Outpatient Facilities, Long Term Care Facilities, and Home Health Care. The role requires working as part of a team to provide support and information within the field of Speech/Language Pathology, focusing on improving speech, language, swallowing, and hearing disorders.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Current state license/certification
- Excellent oral, written communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to provide therapy services in various locations
- Demonstrate competency in applying the principles, methods, materials and equipment used in specific therapy discipline
- Knowledge of accreditation standards and compliance requirements
Nice To Haves
- Minimum one (1) year experience in rehabilitation
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients in accordance with physician's orders.
- Utilize therapeutic procedures to improve speech, language, swallowing, and hearing disorders.
- Work as a member of a team, providing support and information within Speech/Language Pathology.
