About The Position
Knowledge Road is seeking NYS-licensed Speech-Language Pathologists to work as school-based speech therapists on a 1099 basis in Bronx. The position offers flexible hours and competitive pay rates based on group size. Services are provided to students in independent, parochial, and charter schools across the borough, as well as some homeschooled students, under a New York City DOE contract. These are not placements within NYC DOE public schools.
Requirements
- NYS license as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Availability to work in Bronx
- Cannot have been employed by the NYC Department of Education within the past year (or have special approval)
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver speech-language therapy aligned to each student's IEP or IESP goals
- Keep session notes and complete required documentation
- Complete progress reports as required
- Communicate with the school, the family and the student's team
- Attend IEP meetings for the students you work with
