About The Position

Cross Country Education is hiring a School Speech-Language Pathologist to provide individualized speech and language services to students in Gilbert and Mesa, Arizona. The position serves approximately 49 students with communication needs across elementary and junior high school settings, helping strengthen communication skills and support success in the classroom. The SLP conducts evaluations, provides therapy, develops and monitors IEP goals, and collaborates with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams. The role also includes case management for fewer than 10 students, maintaining accurate documentation and compliance records, recording services, and consulting with school staff on speech, language, social communication, and academic support strategies across educational settings.

Requirements

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
Valid Arizona Department of Health Services Speech-Language Pathology License.
Valid Arizona Department of Education Speech-Language Pathologist Certification.
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
Active Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
Experience conducting evaluations, developing IEPs, and providing school-based speech-language services.

Responsibilities

Conduct speech-language evaluations and provide therapy services for approximately 49 students across elementary and junior high school settings.

Serve as case manager for a small group of fewer than 10 students.
