Requirements

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Valid California licensure in Speech-Language Pathology (or eligibility to obtain)
Experience working with pediatric populations in a school, clinic, or therapy setting
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and written communication skills
Compassionate, patient, and child-centered approach to therapy

Nice To Haves

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred
Knowledge of AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) is a plus

Responsibilities

Evaluate and assess children's speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
Develop, Review, and implement individualized treatment plans (IFSPs) tailored to each child's needs
Provide direct speech-language therapy services in a pediatric setting (in home or in clinic)
Collaborate with parents, caregivers, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
Monitor, document, and report on patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
Conduct screenings and diagnostic evaluations using standardized assessment tools
Provide parent and caregiver training and education on communication strategies
