About The Position
Ultimate Therapy is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our rehabilitation team. We welcome both experienced SLPs and Clinical Fellowship (CFY) candidates who are looking to begin their careers in a supportive skilled nursing and post-acute care environment. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside an experienced interdisciplinary team while treating residents with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
Requirements
- Active New Jersey Speech-Language Pathologist license or eligibility for licensure required
- CFY candidates are encouraged to apply
- Strong communication and clinical reasoning skills
Nice To Haves
- Skilled nursing or rehabilitation experience is preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Evaluate residents with speech, language, cognitive, voice, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide evidence-based therapy to improve communication, cognition, and swallowing function
- Monitor resident progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate
- Collaborate with PTs, OTs, nursing staff, physicians, and families to coordinate care
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
