About The Position

Brookestone View is seeking a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist to join its therapy team and provide care to residents and patients. The role evaluates, develops, and implements individualized treatment plans supporting communication, cognition, and swallowing function. The SLP works with residents, families, and an interdisciplinary care team to promote positive outcomes and meaningful experiences.

Requirements

• Active Nebraska Speech-Language Pathologist license.
• Strong clinical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop individualized care plans based on resident needs and goals.
• Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated care.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment approaches as appropriate.
• Educate residents, caregivers, and team members about treatment strategies and recommendations.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
