Part-time Speech Language Pathologist
About The Position
WindsorMeade of Williamsburg, a continuing care retirement community in Williamsburg, Virginia, is seeking a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist to join its therapy team. The community offers therapy facilities and a holistic, personalized-care environment. Functional Pathways provides clinical services across the continuum of care, using evidence-based programs and a patient-centered approach addressing neurological, cardiopulmonary, cognitive, and musculoskeletal needs. Specialty-program training and company-paid MedBridge continuing education units are available to full-time and part-time team members. The Speech-Language Pathologist conducts screenings, evaluations, and re-evaluations; supports discharge planning; and revises established plans of care under physician supervision. The position offers an hourly salary range of $40.00 to $53.00 and a $2,500 sign-on bonus for direct applicants only.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Meet certification and licensure requirements established by state and national board associations.
- Hold an active state license.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Working knowledge of Functional Pathways policies and procedures and clinical programs, with application skills relevant to therapy disciplines.
- Complete all required screenings, certifications, and licensure; screening requirements may vary by location.
Responsibilities
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and re-evaluations.
- Participate in discharge planning.
- Revise established plans of care as supervised by the physician.
