About The Position

Ridgewood Care Center is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to help residents regain and maintain communication, cognitive, and swallowing abilities while supporting their quality of life. The role provides individualized therapy services in collaboration with residents, families, and an interdisciplinary healthcare team, with the goal of promoting meaningful progress and independence.

Requirements

• Current Speech Language Pathologist licensure in the State of Nebraska.
• Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and patients to identify speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing needs.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on individual goals and clinical assessments.
• Provide skilled therapeutic interventions to improve function, safety, and quality of life.
• Coordinate care with nursing staff, therapy colleagues, physicians, and family members.
• Educate residents and caregivers on therapy techniques, recommendations, and progress.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation in accordance with professional and regulatory standards.
