About The Position
We are seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to join our Inpatient Rehabilitation team. This role involves providing therapy and rehabilitation services to patients in an acute rehabilitation setting. The caseload includes patients with conditions such as stroke, spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic conditions, and amputations. The facility includes a 10-bed LTACH/ICU and a 46-bed Inpatient Rehabilitation unit.
Requirements
- BLS certification
- Alaska SLP License
- Minimum 1 year of experience
- Experience in Acute Rehab Facility
- Must have a permanent address at least 50 miles from the facility
- All requested time off (RTO) must be included with the submittal
- Pending Alaska license accepted, but strong preference for license in hand

Responsibilities
- Provide speech-language pathology services to patients in an inpatient rehabilitation setting.
- Work with patients recovering from stroke, spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic conditions, and amputations.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Document patient progress and treatment in the electronic health record.
