About The Position
This is a 13-week contract position for an Occupational Therapist (OT) in an Inpatient Rehabilitation unit. The role requires the therapist to work on-site and involves direct patient care within a rehabilitation setting. The hospital is a teaching hospital with 91 staffed beds, and it utilizes Epic for charting. Parking is free for employees.
Requirements
- Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license.
- Experience in an inpatient rehabilitation setting.
- Ability to work one weekend per month.
- Proficiency in Epic charting.
Nice To Haves
- Acute care OT experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to patients in an inpatient rehabilitation setting.
- Manage patient caseload with an expected ratio of 1:6.
- Document patient care using Epic charting system.
- Work one weekend per month as part of the staffing requirements.
