About The Position
Theracare is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a PRN position. The SLP will evaluate and treat patients in accordance with physician's orders, utilizing therapeutic procedures to improve speech, language, swallowing, and hearing disorders. This role involves working as part of a dedicated therapy team, providing support and information within the field of Speech/Language Pathology. Therapy services will be delivered in various settings, including Skilled Nursing Facilities, Outpatient Facilities, Long Term Care Facilities, and Home Health Care.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Current state license/certification
- Excellent oral, written communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to provide therapy services in various locations (Skilled Nursing Facilities, Outpatient Facilities, Long Term Care Facilities, Home Health Care)
- Demonstrate competency in applying the principles, methods, materials, and equipment used in specific therapy discipline
- Knowledge of accreditation standards and compliance requirements
Nice To Haves
- Minimum one (1) year experience in rehabilitation
