Speech Language Pathologist – Acute Care is a travel temporary assignment in Winchester, New Hampshire. Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive speech-language pathology evaluations for residents with communication and swallowing disorders; develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Deliver therapy to improve speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing function; monitor progress and adjust goals as needed.
Document assessments, goals, progress notes, and discharge planning in accordance with facility policies and documentation standards.
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (nursing, rehabilitative therapies, physicians, social work) to optimize client outcomes; participate in rounds and care planning.
Educate residents and families on communication strategies and safe swallowing techniques; provide caregiver and staff training as appropriate.
Maintain infection control and regulatory compliance within therapy services and ensure patient safety during activities.
