Associates in Pediatric Therapy (APT) is hiring pediatric Speech Language Pathologists, Physical Therapists, and Occupational Therapists to provide individualized care in a supportive, clinician-run environment. Therapists work with children from birth through age 21 and collaborate with caregivers and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. APT welcomes new graduates and experienced clinicians, provides mentorship, and offers flexible schedules and growth opportunities. Occupational Therapists evaluate and treat children with physical, emotional, and/or psychosocial needs, including needs related to fine motor and visual motor development, sensory processing and modulation, and executive functioning. They consider how these needs affect activities of daily living, rest and sleep, education, play, leisure, and social participation. Speech Language Pathologists prevent, assess, diagnose, and treat speech-language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders. They evaluate and treat speech, language, oral motor, feeding, voice, fluency, articulation, and social communication needs, document sessions and progress or evaluation reports, and work with patients, caregivers, and the interdisciplinary team. Physical Therapists evaluate children with congenital and orthopedic conditions and provide skilled gross motor interventions to improve mobility. Interventions may include gait training, equipment and orthotic management, neuromuscular re-education, and therapeutic exercises. All therapists are expected to maintain professional and technical competencies and comply with applicable licensure and ethical expectations.
