Associates in Pediatric Therapy (APT) is hiring pediatric therapists to provide compassionate, individualized care in a supportive, clinician-run environment. Therapists work with children from birth to age 21 and collaborate with caregivers and an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. The role may be filled by a Speech Language Pathologist, Occupational Therapist, or Physical Therapist, with duties varying by discipline. Occupational Therapists evaluate and treat children with physical, emotional, and/or psychosocial needs, including fine motor and visual motor development, sensory processing and modulation, and executive functioning. Evaluations consider how these needs affect activities of daily living, rest and sleep, education, play, leisure, and social participation. Speech Language Pathologists prevent, assess, diagnose, and treat speech-language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders. They evaluate and treat speech, language, oral motor, feeding, voice, fluency, articulation, and social communication disorders, document sessions and reports, and work to help children achieve their highest level of functioning and prevent regression. Physical Therapists evaluate children with congenital and orthopedic conditions and provide skilled gross motor interventions to improve mobility. Interventions may include gait training, equipment and orthotic management, neuromuscular re-education, and therapeutic exercises. APT offers mentorship for new graduates and experienced therapists, flexible schedules, bonuses and growth opportunities, and benefits including health, dental and vision coverage, a 401(k) match, PTO, life and disability insurance, and company-provided professional liability insurance. New graduates are welcome to apply.
