Associates in Pediatric Therapy (APT) provides compassionate, individualized pediatric therapy in a supportive, clinician-run environment. Therapists work with children from birth through age 21, collaborating with caregivers and an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. APT welcomes new graduates and experienced therapists and offers mentorship, flexible schedules, and opportunities for growth. Occupational therapists evaluate and treat children with physical, emotional, or psychosocial needs. They assess areas including fine and visual motor development, sensory processing and modulation, and executive functioning, considering effects on daily activities, rest and sleep, education, play, leisure, and social participation. Speech-language pathologists prevent, assess, diagnose, and treat speech-language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders. They evaluate and treat speech, language, oral motor, feeding, voice, fluency, articulation, and social communication needs, and document treatment sessions and patient progress. Physical therapists evaluate children with congenital and orthopedic conditions and use skilled gross motor interventions to improve mobility. These interventions may include gait training, equipment and orthotic management, neuromuscular re-education, and therapeutic exercises. All therapists are expected to maintain professional and technical competencies and uphold applicable licensure and ethical standards.
