Associates in Pediatric Therapy (APT) provides compassionate, individualized pediatric therapy in a supportive, clinician-run environment. Therapists work with children from birth to age 21 and collaborate with caregivers and an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. APT welcomes new graduates and experienced therapists and offers mentorship and flexible schedules. Occupational Therapists evaluate and treat children with physical, emotional, and/or psychosocial needs, including fine motor and visual motor development, sensory processing and modulation, and executive functioning. They consider how these needs affect activities of daily living, rest and sleep, education, play, leisure, and social participation. Speech Language Pathologists prevent, assess, diagnose, and treat speech-language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders. They evaluate and treat speech, language, oral motor, feeding, voice, fluency, articulation, and social communication needs, and document treatment sessions and patient progress. Physical Therapists evaluate children with physical, emotional, and/or psychosocial needs, including congenital and orthopedic conditions. They provide skilled gross motor interventions to improve mobility, including gait training, equipment and orthotic management, neuromuscular re-education, and therapeutic exercises. All therapists are expected to maintain professional and technical competencies and comply with applicable federal and state licensure and ethical expectations.
