5280 Recovery High School is Colorado's only recovery high school, serving youth in recovery from addiction. This role supports students who struggle with substance misuse and other self-destructive behaviors, with a focus on those requiring additional assistance with Executive Functioning, Behavior Management, Academics, and Emotional Regulation. The ideal candidate will align with the school's mission to prioritize relationships and student well-being, working closely with the Recovery Team and general education teachers to support students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) primarily in Humanities (English/History) courses. Experience in writing IEPs and conducting evaluations is required. This position offers a flexible schedule, with work during school hours, from late September through March.
