You’ll support veterinarians and technicians with animal care, exams, treatments, surgeries, and client communication. Responsibilities include restraining animals, administering medications under supervision, cleaning and maintaining hospital areas, assisting with lab work and inventory, and providing excellent customer service to pet owners. As a Veterinary Technician Assistant at Elite Veterinary Specialists, you’ll dive into challenging and rewarding cases, making a real difference in the lives of our patients and their owners.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Training or experience in veterinary care (on-the-job or formal)
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. (more with assistance)
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Willingness to assist with a variety of tasks, including housekeeping and reception duties

Responsibilities

  • Support veterinarians and technicians with animal care, exams, treatments, surgeries, and client communication.
  • Restrain animals.
  • Administer medications under supervision.
  • Clean and maintain hospital areas.
  • Assist with lab work and inventory.
