About The Position

MedVet is seeking a collaborative and driven Radiology/ICU Veterinary Technician to join its clinical team. The role supports emergency and specialty veterinary care, with a focus on radiology and intensive care. The technician helps provide compassionate, high-quality care and build strong relationships with patients and clients, including for cases requiring daily treatment.

The proposed schedule is Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., with two days in Radiology and one day in ICU. The position requires critical thinking, attention to detail, multitasking, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility and the ability to work additional hours when necessary are expected.

Requirements

• Proficiency in calculations, including drug calculations, constant rate infusions, and unit conversions.
• Flexibility with work hours and ability to work additional hours when necessary.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Prior MRI and radiology experience is strongly preferred.
• Prior veterinary experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients, instruments, equipment, and medications for procedures.
• Assist with radiographs, CTs, ultrasound imaging, and MRIs.
• Manage appointments, obtain patient histories, maintain medical records, process invoices, and discharge patients.
• Help ensure patients receive the highest quality care and deliver the MedVet experience.
• Teach, inspire, multitask, and contribute as a highly functional team member.
• Ensure documentation is accurate and complete.
