About The Position

The Table Community Foundation (TCF) is seeking creative, passionate, and reliable Specialty Staff to lead enrichment clubs in their after-school programs. These positions are ideal for individuals with skills or experience in arts, music, dance, photography, technology, or other creative disciplines who wish to inspire and engage youth in a positive learning environment. As a Specialty Staff member, you will design and lead hands-on clubs that expose students to new experiences, promote creativity, and build confidence. You will collaborate with Program Specialists and Program Leaders to bring your passion to life through structured, fun, and educational sessions. All TCF employees are expected to uphold high standards of attendance, accountability, and professionalism while consistently modeling the mission and core values of The Table Community Foundation (TCF): Serve. Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • TB test clearance.
  • Must pass DOJ/FBI criminal background check.
  • Must be punctual and reliable.
  • Must possess strong classroom and behavioral management skills.
  • Must be able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Must be able to communicate openly in a professional manner with staff, students, parents, and community partners.

  • First Aid and CPR Certification

Responsibilities

  • Plan and facilitate weekly specialty clubs such as art, music, dance, photography, theater, or STEM-based activities, technology, or graphic arts.
  • Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment for youth (TK–8th grade).
  • Collaborate with Site Supervisors to align club activities with program goals.
  • Prepare materials, manage supplies, and maintain organized learning spaces.
  • Support general after-school operations as needed (snack, homework, transitions).
  • Serve as a positive role model, mentor, and leader for youth participants.
  • Meet monthly with TCF Management to coordinate program stabilization, discuss and evaluate program effectiveness.
  • Adhere to TCF and Stockton Unified School District policies and procedures when interacting with students, staff, and administration.
  • Adhere to budgets for designated programs.
  • Maintain a high level of communication and positive relationships with all staff and Administration including but not limited to TCF personnel, parents, and students.
  • Positively impact students at each session.
  • Arrive on time to your locations/sessions.
  • Attend staff meetings when required.
  • Maintain equipment and manage your working space.
  • Support sites before and after sessions as needed.
  • Fulfill any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
