About The Position

Carvana is seeking a creative, people-powered, and highly organized Workplace Experience Specialist to support its Tempe, AZ office. The Tempe HQ spans three buildings and is home to corporate, Technology, and various Operational teams. This is a high-impact, highly visible role at the heart of the Tempe office, responsible for supporting office events and culture, making it a place people genuinely want to be. The role combines aspects of event planning, culture carrying, hospitality, and creative problem-solving. The Specialist will set the tone for the space, keep things organized behind the scenes in partnership with the Office Ops team, and create intentional, energizing moments that reflect the Carvana brand. This is a fully on-site position, Monday through Friday, at the corporate HQ in Tempe, Arizona.

Requirements

  • 3 or more years of experience in office management, events, workplace experience, hospitality, or a related role.
  • Proven ability to manage day-to-day office operations and support in-office teams.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with attention to detail.
  • Comfort working in a high-visibility role with frequent interaction across teams and with leaders.
  • Ability to perform well under pressure and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • A collaborative mindset and willingness to pitch in wherever needed.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously while maintaining high standards of execution.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs when necessary for event setup or office logistics.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with tools like Slack, Google Workspace, Zoom, or office ticketing platforms.
  • A strong sense of aesthetic and space, with an eye for how things look and feel.
  • Previous event planning experience.

Responsibilities

  • Planning and executing in-office events, team moments, and cultural touchpoints, while maintaining an office calendar and regular slack communications.
  • Overseeing the on-site swag shop, including inventory management, display upkeep, and fulfillment coordination.
  • Partnering with Office Operations, Facilities, Property, and Safety and Security teams to support the physical office environment.
  • Supporting Leaders across various floors and departments to collect feedback and keep them informed on office changes and updates.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve how the office feels and functions, and turning ideas into action.
  • Supporting company-wide culture campaigns and helping connect the Tempe office to the broader Carvana workplace experience.
