About The Position

The Wesco Talent Acquisition team is growing! We are seeking an onsite Specialist – Talent Acquisition to support the recruiting process in our Alsip, IL facilities, one of Wesco’s critical high-volume warehouse sites. This role serves as the link between internal Talent Acquisition, Wesco’s external RPO partner, Operations, and Human Resources. The Specialist – Talent Acquisition is responsible for ensuring staffing needs are met through efficient coordination and facilitation of the recruiting process including requisition and candidate management, candidate interviews/feedback/selection, tracking and reporting, and continuous process improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in recruiting; warehouse, manufacturing, or hourly high-volume hiring experience strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with Application Tracking Systems (Oracle Recruiting Cloud preferred).
• 2 years required understanding of recruiting policies, practices, and employment law.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively across stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, operational environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Flexible, well organized, and comfortable working on-site in a warehouse or distribution center setting.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary on-site Talent Acquisition partner working closely with Talent Acquisition leadership, RPO, Operations, and Human Resources to align staffing plans and address challenges.
• Manage requisition and hiring activities to ensure staffing levels align with daily and strategic operational resource needs.
• Maintain accurate tracking of requisitions, candidate status, interview activity, and hiring outcomes; prepare regular reports for site leadership.
• Lead full-cycle recruiting process for exempt level positions including resume review, phone screening and interview coordination with Operations leaders.
• Research, recommend, and establish partnerships with local organizations, schools, and other community resources to build brand awareness and increase candidate pools.
• Ensure compliance with HR policies, employment law, company standards, and warehouse safety requirements throughout the hiring and onboarding process.
• Leverage recruiting systems and tools to improve speed, efficiency, and candidate experience in a high-volume environment.
