The Specialist, Parts Programs oversees and enhances all aspects of Mazda Canada’s Dealer Direct Program, including the Retailer-facing tire program. This role involves coordinating and aligning Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and distributor operations with Mazda Canada. The incumbent will manage Retailer communications, ensure accurate billing reconciliation, and execute program initiatives as their primary objectives. This position is instrumental in driving organic sales growth, strengthening Retailer engagement, and refining program processes to elevate brand value and the overall customer experience.

Requirements

  • Post‑secondary education in business or supply chain management or related field
  • 1-2 years of automotive industry experience in parts or tire programs preferred
  • Strong relationship management and communication skills
  • Experience working with suppliers, OEMs, or distributors
  • Financial acumen with experience in billing reconciliation
  • Exposure to project management and program coordination experience
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on process improvement
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, finance, and operations teams
  • Experience supporting vendor contracts and supplier performance
  • Background in sales support or dealer network operations
  • Proficiency in business systems, MS Excel and Power Point, base knowledge of dealer portal systems

Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop all communications and correspondence with Dealer Direct OEMs and distributors, while supporting Retailer-facing communications related to tire programs.
  • Lead and manage the Winter Tire Booking Program, including planning, coordination, and execution.
  • Attend and facilitate monthly vendor and supplier operational performance reviews.
  • Maintain and update supplier contracts as required, ensuring compliance and alignment with business objectives.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to drive efficiency and increase sales across all current Dealer Direct suppliers.
  • Create and maintain supplier part numbers within the Oracle EBS systems, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Reconcile all Dealer Direct and tire billing using MDrive, ensuring timely and accurate financial processing.
  • Provide suppliers with up-to-date OEM specifications for new model year vehicles.
  • Collaborate with internal marketing teams to promote incentives, campaigns, and seasonal programs to Retailers.
  • Support Retailer facing communication development process.
