About The Position

This opening is for an Inventory Management Support position. This position will support the facilities parts/ materials warehouse while managing inventory levels and spare parts. The candidate will be responsible for the operations of multiple functions within a warehouse environment. Candidates must possess attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This position is for a candidate who will support personnel across multiple shifts as well as multi-level management. Candidates will work independently and as a group/team sourcing parts, ordering materials, and helping to maintain min/max levels.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant inventory experience.
• Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related inventory experience.
• In lieu of a degree, there is a minimum of 8 years of prior related inventory experience.

• Working knowledge of warehouse control, inventory control, and related duties.
• Ability to analyze information gathered to identify potential problems or discrepancies.
• Strong decision making and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Advanced knowledge of MS office suite of products
• Ability to operate a forklift.

Responsibilities

• Work with Logistics team, including Warehousing, Receiving & Shipping.
• Work within a production environment, including material handling.
• Unpack material received and assure that it properly stored, and all relevant transactions are done on the MRP system to show the location of the material.
• Interface with other departments as required ensuring control and coordinate for efficient material flow.
• Monitor of receipts, issues and stock movements within the warehouse, external suppliers and other L3Harris segments.
• Ability to climb stairs, ladders, bend, stoop, and lift 32 pounds.
