About The Position

Veritas Accounting Services is hiring a Specialist II - Inventory Control to join its Inventory Control team. The role analyzes inventory shipment transactions and maintains inventory records. The Specialist helps provide accurate, timely merchandise tracking information and ensures inventory levels are accurately reflected in the system of record.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in a customer service-focused environment.
• Strong technical aptitude and the ability to quickly learn inventory management and associated systems.
• Ability to work under pressure while providing superior customer service, maintaining accuracy, and meeting strict deadlines.
• Demonstrated flexibility, initiative, good judgment, and discretion.
• Self-starter with strong teamwork and partnership skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Assist with managing store inventory in a timely, accurate, and organized manner to contribute to the profitability of retail operations.
• Build and maintain positive working relationships with management.
• Process and research issues received through incoming calls and emails in a timely, accurate, and professional manner.
• Review documents to resolve errors.
• Oversee and assist with reconciliation, validation, adjustments, and reporting of results.
• Maintain compliance with inventory control policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
