About The Position

Daikin Applied is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist II for its Faribault South location in Faribault, Minnesota. This onsite role monitors and analyzes inventory trends and supports the production of quality products that meet market demands. The specialist inspects materials and assemblies, performs tests and evaluations according to written instructions, and helps maintain consistent quality. The role also includes training employees in daily procedures and assisting with repairs, corrective actions, and inspection reporting.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 to 4 years of relevant experience.

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree in a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, review, and analyze weekly inventory trends and discuss variations with appropriate staff members.
• Provide basic support to efficiently build quality products and meet market demands.
• Inspect incoming, in-process, and outgoing material, parts, and assemblies against specifications and blueprints, following standard shop practices and/or special instructions.
• Train other employees in day-to-day procedures.
• Perform specified calibrations, tests, and evaluations to determine acceptance or rejection according to written instructions, and record the results.
• Assist in determining controls necessary to maintain a consistent quality level.
• Assist in directing repairs and corrections for deviations as required.
• Assist in generating inspection reports and analyses.
