About The Position
Daikin Applied is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist II to provide inventory and quality support, helping the company build quality products efficiently and meet market demands. The role is onsite at Faribault South in Faribault, Minnesota. The specialist monitors and analyzes inventory trends, inspects materials and assemblies, performs specified tests and calibrations, and supports quality controls and corrective actions.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- 2 to 4 years of relevant experience.

- Associate degree in a related field.
Responsibilities
- Monitor, review, and analyze weekly inventory trends and discuss variations with appropriate staff members.
- Provide basic support to efficiently build quality products and meet market demands.
- Inspect incoming, in-process, and outgoing material, parts, and assemblies to specifications and blueprints, following standard shop practices and/or special instructions.
- Train other employees in day-to-day procedures.
- Perform specified calibrations, tests, and evaluations to determine acceptance or rejection according to written instructions, and record the results.
- Assist in determining controls necessary to maintain a consistent quality level.
- Assist in directing repairs and corrections for deviations as required.
- Assist in generating inspection reports and analyses.
