About The Position

Specialist 2 plays a key role in providing specialized expertise and support in multiple areas within the Nutrition Services department. This position requires in-depth knowledge, technical skills, and the ability to analyze and solve complex problems. The Specialist 2 collaborates with cross functional teams to drive project initiatives and processes, contributing to the overall success of the organization.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a related role or field, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
  • Oracle HR / Payroll / Maintenance / Accounts Payable Modules
  • SAP
  • Primero Ordering System
  • Microsoft Office
  • Time Clock Plus

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • additional certifications or relevant training is a plus
  • SNA or TASN preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide subject matter expertise and support in multiple areas of Customer Service, offering guidance and recommendations to team members and stakeholders in the Nutrition Services Department
  • Conduct in-depth research, analysis, and evaluation of data, trends, and industry best practices to support decision-making processes.
  • Support the implementation of strategies, programs, and initiatives to address specific organizational needs and objectives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver training solutions in the various assigned area
  • Support the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and guidelines in alignment with regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Analyze complex problems, identify root causes, and propose innovative solutions to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Participate in the development and monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and evaluate the success of initiatives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement and facilitate the implementation of changes.
  • Assist in the management and execution of projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Provide expertise in using relevant software applications, tools, and systems to optimize data analysis, reporting, and tracking.
  • Prepare and present reports, presentations, and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Stay up to date with emerging trends, technologies, and advancements in the assigned area of expertise
  • Act as a resource person and provide training and guidance to junior team members as needed.
  • Foster positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, maintaining effective communication and collaboration
  • Continuously seek opportunities for professional development and growth in the assigned area of specialization.
